Our goal is to provide the ultimate in dining services
to the students, faculty, staff, and guests of DU. The meal
program is designed not only to offer you the best dining
value on campus, but also to provide maximum variety, convenience,
nutritional balance, and the opportunity to enjoy great food
and fun events with your friends.
The Marketplace in Kearny Dining Hall is the main on-campus dining facility. It
is available to residential and commuter students, faculty,
staff and guests. If
you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make
a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact
administration at 504.816.4000:
- Provides dining for full meal service during the week. Eat breakfast, lunch or dinner in an all-you-care-to-eat buffet format in the Dining Hall! This plan is required for all students living in on-campus residence halls and in off-campus residence halls.
- Commuters, Faculty & Staff will be able to purchase a punch card for $51.00. When the punch card is purchased you will receive a 10% enrichment! How does it work? You get 11 meals for the price of ten. Our other option is a 25 Meal Block Plan! You can purchase 25 meals for only $127.50. These meals are valid for breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch.
It really pays to be on a meal plan! Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Both cash and check payments are accepted anytime throughout the semester. Talk about convenience and flexibility!

What is an ID/ Meal Card?
It is your permanent student ID card plus a debit card for food
services on campus. Each time you make a purchase, the amount
of the purchase is deducted from your accounts' balance. Your card is encoded, validated and
can be used 24 hours after activation or additions.
Lost or Stolen Meal Cards
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. LOST CARD POLICY - Lost Cards must be reported to the DU
Office of Business Services. Report your lost card by calling
504.816.4001 immediately.
Welcome, Guests
Have a guest over for dinner! You are welcome to bring a friend
or family member for any meal. Guest meal prices at the Kearny Dining Hall are as follows (tax not included):

Dining Policies & Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable
and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this
goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when
you have finished dining.
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the
dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards
cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
- Please refrain from bringing back packs or large bags into
the Dining Hall.
- Enjoy all the food selections you want at each visit to the
cafeteria, but please remember, take what you want, but eat
what you take! Please don't waste food.
- Due to the all-you-care-to-eat program, take-out from the
Dining Hall is not allowed. Please consume your meal and
beverage in the dining area.
